About Us
We're Octaneboys — a production duo from Venlo, in the south of the Netherlands, founded by Ivo Janssen (23) and Chevajo Crommentuijn (22).
Chevajo started playing piano at a young age and has been producing for over eight years. He started making beats for rappers, before developing a passion for electronic and dance music. From piano to drum programming, he built his own style around rhythm, energy and sound.
Ivo discovered synthesizers at the age of 14 and developed a deep passion for analog instruments and sound design. After graduating as a pop composer from the Herman Brood Academie, he continued creating his own approach to modern production.
We've known each other for years, but one year ago we decided to finally start making music together. That's when we realized something clicked. Different influences, different backgrounds — but the same drive to create something that feels fresh and truly ours.
Our sound is built around powerful drums, heavy bass, distorted energy and the character of analog gear combined with modern production. Raw, fresh and always focused on identity.
Octaneboys is more than a producer duo. It's a brand, a vision and a statement.
